Big Damn Prints at Pratt Institute

Big Damn Prints is an event that has happened at Pratt Institute for the past 4 years. Each year I ask students to cut 4x8 foot woodcut blocks. During the event the blocks are inked and printed with a steamroller. This event is organized by Howling Print Projects. Check the site for more pics from previous years.

Syracuse University Artist Visit

Dusty and the print department out at Syracuse University were nice enough to have me out for a visit. We did steamroller prints the first day (the students did an awesome job both helping out and their blocks!), I built a tree sculpture (prototype for an upcoming show) that night and finished the tree the next morning. That evening Dusty arranged an awesome BBQ! and reception for the steamroller prints and some of my art garbage. AND CHRIS JOHANSON WAS THERE!!! Here a link to more pics.

Hello Folks.

So I just made some updates to the site and I'm going to try to keep an updated blog on upcoming events etc.... Some of the newest things to check out are The Resurrection of Fenris which was a project for the 2007 Deitch Art Parade which runs down W. Broadway in New York. The project included a giant wolf bat float, topless parade walkers wearing masks and fur boots, two full drum sets and a smoke machine. It was featured in the New York Times article! Images of the masks, the float, the actual parade, and low res video that Danny baxter was kind enough to put together have been added to the gallery. There is also images from the KCDC Mural i did over the summer along with several new images..... and a NEW SECTION CALLED HOWLING PROJECTS! Check it out!
Home - nucleuscms.org
Welcome to the world of Nucleus CMS.

In 2001 a set of PHP scripts were let loose on the open Internet. Those scripts, which took user-generated data and used it to dynamically create html pages, contained the ideas and the algorithms that are the core of today’s Nucleus CMS. Though Nucleus CMS 3.2 is far more flexible and powerful than the scripts from which it emerged, it still expresses the values that guided its birth: flexibility, security, and computational elegance.

Thanks to an international community of sophisticated developers and designers, Nucleus CMS remains simple enough for anyone to learn, and expandable enough to allow you to build almost any website you can imagine. Nucleus CMS lets you integrate text, images, and user comments in a seamless package that will make your web presence as serious, professional, personal, or fun as you want it to be.

We hope you enjoy its power.
